On Sunday, after the church service, we braved the afternoon heat in downtown Madrid with some of our new friends. They introduced us to a restaurant (Museo de jamón) and showed us around the world renowned Prado museum. Anyone that knows the Prado knows that you can’t see even 1/10 of the museum in one afternoon, so we focused on sixteenth century Spanish art.
The picture above is Wenceslao and his wife Pili. Wences is the pastor of our church. They have been so incredibly kind and patient as we fumble through the language.
