A few weeks ago the Spanish government approved the accreditation of five christian colleges and master’s programs. This is great news for a number of reasons. Students graduating from the four year program will be awarded a degree accepted in any Spanish university master’s program. This degree will be accepted by any spanish or international university. In addition, perspective students will be able to ask for scholarships from government programs in order to make a four year program more feasible. Both of the factors, among others, increase the likelihood of rising attendance in these schools.
I have a number of questions as well. Will this open up doors for more partnerships between smaller online programs and these newly recognized institutions? Will doors open between american bible colleges and seminaries and these institutions? Even though the answers to such questions will only be known in time, the passing of this law has proven to be a major reason for rejoicing.
