Language Semester Two (Posted 3-4-2011)

We have kicked off our second full semester of Spanish at Nebrija University this month. The level of Spanish is B2: the fourth of six potential options at the school. Language levels grade from A1 (beginner) to C2 (Advanced), and thus our level, B2, is mid-upper intermediate.

Our academic course load isn’t as intense as last semester because we’ve decided to take less hours (8 instead of 15). But we supplement the extra time with more active involvement with people in our church, community, and intercambio relationships. Intercambios are times with Spaniards where there is a language exchange in English and in Spanish. We currently have a few intercambios every week, autoescuela studies, university, a tutor, and a couple of church.
