Frozen Pipes and Brush Arbor Baptist

Last Thursday I woke up to Julie calling out to me, “Chad, the water won’t work!” And we were off to another unexpected start to another day. The owners of our little apartment worked really hard to find the source of the problem, and since it had been frigidly cold the previous days, we wondered if a pipe was frozen. We never did discover the problem, but the issue meant that we needed a new place to stay, and fast.

Thankfully my parents live just up the road in Monroe city, Missouri. They were more than willing to let us crash at their place (I suspect that Evan had something to do with that).

We were also pleased on short notice to attend a church service at our parents little country church: Brush Arbor Baptist. The church has been supporting us for a few months, and their pastor graciously let us share about our ministry. Another highlight from the morning was that my Mom helps lead the congregation in worship. She sings and plays the piano. I’ve attached a picture of my Mom leading worship below this post.
